About us

Jawahar Medical Foundation, the brain child of Late Shri Annasaheb Chudaman Patil, established in the year 1984 with its vision and mission to create leading medical education & tertiary health care to serve the community at large in and around north Maharashtra region of Maharashtra. The trust is registered under society registration act 1860 and bombay public charitable trust under BPT act 1950. The trust has begun its humble beginning with foundation of 150 beded charitable general hospital to cater health needs of the rural & tribal population of Dhule district in the year 1989.

In the year 1990, the trust established its medical college in the memory of its founder Late Shri Annasaheb Chudaman Patil with permission of Government of Maharashtra granted permission, at Dhule –Surat Highway at Moranne village, about 5 km away from main Dhule city. The hospital consequently extended its outreach health care activities by establishing a rural health center at village Mundalwad in Dhadgaon Taluka (an Adivasi area) and urban health center inside the Dhule city.

In pursuance of its commitment to excellence in medical education & health care, the board of management under the dynamic leadership of Hon'ble chairman Dr Bhsidas C Patil leaving no stone unturned and contributing strenuously since last 30 years for development of ACPM Medical College & hospital as leading medical education and health care center of excellence. The medical college campus has now grown as a tertiary health care, spreads over 36.5 acres to lush green eco-friendly environment , housing teaching block,  hospital block, hostel block for boys and girls, residents, faculty, nursing and non-teaching staff.

The College is affiliated with Maharashtra University of health sciences, Nashik and recognised by Medical Council of India for MBBS and MD/MS degree. The infrastructure & faculty of the college & hospital is as per the recommendations of medical council for 100 MBBS annual intake and postgraduate degree in various subjects. The admission to the graduate as well as postgraduate courses are through the central admission committee of the Government of Maharashtra, based on the NEET score. The faculty and staff of the college endeavours to cultivate medical professionals with deep intellectual skills, values through practices based astute perception and insights to enlighten unresolved health care issues.

ACPM Medical College owe the responsibility to embrace new ways of educating and learning process using innovative technologies to addresses the advancement in medical education and patient care. Consequently model of teaching learning process is periodically reviewed and newer models of training of medical graduates are adopted to take advantages of emerging teaching technology including clinical skill training using simulation, manikins, value added courses.

Basic and clinical research activities are undertaken across the different departments by the faculty and students. Efforts are being made across our academicians to research collaborations with industry & interdisciplinary institutions on imaging of cell function and evidence based preventive health care.

1)  1989 C.M.L.T certification courses for laboratory, radiology and ophthalmic technician
2)  1990 ACPM Medical College (100 seats)
3)  1996 JMF'S Nursing Training College
4)  1999 P.G. Diploma course of College of Physicians and Surgeons started in all clinical branches.
5)  2002 ACPM Dental College with (100 seats), recognized by the Dental council of India. It is affiliated to
     Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik
6)  2006 ACPM College of Physiotherapy, ACPM College of B.Sc. Nursing were started.
7)  2007 Post Graduate Courses in the subjects of Medicine, Surgery, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Pathology and Microbiology started.
